Iran Announces Development of Hypersonic Ballistic Missile Technology

Russia was the first nation to develop hypersonic ballistic missile technology.

China now has it.

North Korea claims to have developed Hwasong-8 hypersonic missile technology.

According to

It’s “presumed to be capable of carrying a nuclear or conventional warhead.”

In November 2021, North Korean state media reported that “test results proved that all the technical specifications met the design requirements.”

According to unnamed military experts, the DPRK’s adaptation of a fuel ampoule is a “big step” and a “significant milestone.”

In early November, reported the following about US hypersonic missile development, saying:

Its war department aims to “deploy its first new hypersonic weapon by summer 2023.”

And this from US General Robert Rasch, head of the Pentagon’s hypersonic weapons development, saying:

Plans are “to field the Long-Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW), a ground-launched, boost-glide missile system, by the end of fiscal year 2023,” reported.

Testing continues at this time.

According to head of Russia’s JSC Makeyev Design Bureau, Vladimir Degtyar:

Russia’s new hypersonic Sarmat “is equipped with the most advanced maneuvering warheads.”

It has unsurpassed speed, record-breaking range, highest accuracy, invulnerability while penetrating anti-missile defense systems, able to be launched under any atmospheric conditions, and can reliably strike targets with 100% accuracy — anywhere worldwide.

“In today’s adverse geopolitical conditions, it is our impregnable shield, the main factor of nuclear deterrence and a guarantee of world peace,” Degtyar stressed, adding:

Its development is an “engineering miracle.”

And it’s able to deliver up to 10 tons of multiple nuclear or conventional warheads against designated targets anywhere at speeds of up to 27 Mach — 27 times the speed of sound.

At this speed, circumnavigating planet earth would take little over one hour.

According to Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Commander, General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, on Thursday:

The nation’s military developed hypersonic ballistic missile technology, saying:

“The missile can target the enemy’s anti-missile systems and is a great generational leap in the missile field,” adding:

“I don’t think any technology would be found for tens of years capable of countering it.”

“The missile has high velocity and can maneuver both in and out of the earth’s atmosphere.”

It “can pass through all missile defense systems…can target the enemy’s anti-missile systems, and its production marks a huge leap in the development of a new generation of missiles.”

Iran’s military, weapons development and related technological capabilities are solely for defense — in sharp control to how US-dominated NATO operates aggressively.

Iran earlier developed long-range ballistic missiles able to hit multiple targets. earlier said that “Iran has one of the largest deployed ballistic missile forces in the Middle East” with a range of “almost 2,000 kilometers.”

In response to Iran’s announced development of hypersonic missile technology, imperial tool/IAEA head, Raphael Grossi, once again defied reality by falsely expressing concern about the nation’s legitimate nuclear program.

In stark contrast to nuclear armed and dangerous USA, Britain, France and apartheid Israel, Iran’s nuclear program complies fully with its Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and JCPOA obligations.

No evidence suggests otherwise.
